Sourcing Sofas & Living from TONARA CASA
Sofas, loveseats, armchairs and accent chairs
Our living-room range covers two- and three-seat sofas, loveseats, armchairs and accent chairs, plus modular and sectional configurations for project buyers. Upholstery runs across velvet, bouclé, linen-look woven fabric and genuine or PU leather.
Frame, foam and fabric you can specify
Solid wood and engineered frames, foam density and seat firmness, and commercial fabric or leather specified to your market. We build to your target price rather than asking you to accept ours.
OEM / ODM for retail programmes
Private-label programmes are welcome: custom dimensions, upholstery and colourways, logo labelling, custom cartons and manuals. Samples are developed on our own lines.
Packed for container efficiency
Sofas eat container space. We advise on configuration and packing to get the most out of a 40'HQ, and we can supply knockdown designs where the programme suits it.
Mixed containers, honest MOQs
Combine living-room pieces with dining chairs, tables, bar stools and mirrors in one 40'HQ. Tell us the quantity per model and we will confirm.
Frame construction: solid wood, engineered wood and what it means
A sofa frame determines whether it survives five years or fifteen. We build frames in solid wood and engineered hardwood, with corner blocks, glued and stapled joints and a support structure matched to the size of the piece. Because we are not selling one house model at one price point, we will tell you plainly what a given target price buys in frame construction and where the compromises would land — rather than promising premium construction at an entry price.
Foam, springs and seat firmness
Seat comfort comes from the foam, the suspension and the firmness you ask for. We specify foam density, the suspension system and the seat firmness per order: softer and springier for residential retail, denser and slower-recovering for hospitality and contract use where the sofa is sat on all day. Back cushions can be fibre, foam or a blend, and removable covers can be specified for markets where cleaning and replacement matter.
Fabric and leather: choices and cleaning
Our living-room upholstery covers velvet, boucle, linen, woven fabric, easy-clean and stain-resistant weaves, PU and genuine leather. For retail programmes we can match a commercial fabric range you already use, and for contract projects we quote higher-abrasion and where required fire-retardant options. Cleaning instructions and care labelling can be produced in your market's language, which matters for retail compliance in Europe.
Knockdown versus assembled: the freight maths
Sofas eat container space, so how they are packed decides your landed cost. Where the design allows we supply knockdown versions, with legs and cushions packed separately to reduce carton volume. Assembled shipping is also possible where the design or the market requires it, and we will set out the difference in loading quantity and freight so you can decide based on your own cost structure rather than on a salesman's preference.
Shipping, documentation and export terms
We quote FOB Tianjin as standard and can arrange CIF or door delivery on request. Our export documentation set covers commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin and, where the destination qualifies, preferential certificates such as FORM E for ASEAN markets. Living-room furniture is packed to a planned loading scheme rather than filled in around other goods, and we confirm the plan with you before the container is loaded.
What is your MOQ for sofas?
It depends on the model and how much you are customising. Tell us the quantity per design and whether you need private-label packaging, and we will confirm.
Can I change the size and upholstery?
Yes — dimensions, foam firmness, upholstery material and colour can all be adjusted. Send a reference photo or spec sheet and we will develop a sample.
Do you offer private-label / OEM sofas?
Yes — custom dimensions, upholstery and colourways, logo labelling, custom cartons and manuals.
Can I visit the factory?
Yes — you are welcome. Our production base is in Hebei, a short drive from our Tianjin export office, and we can meet you at Tianjin port or Beijing airport. If you cannot travel, we run a live video walk-through of the workshop.
What is the lead time for a sofa order?
It depends on the model, the frame and foam specification, the upholstery and the level of customisation. We confirm a firm schedule when we quote, and we send pre-shipment photographs of each batch before the balance payment.
Do you offer knockdown sofas to reduce freight?
Where the design allows, yes — knockdown versions with legs and cushions packed separately, which reduces carton volume and lowers the freight per unit. We will set out the difference in loading quantity so you can decide against your own cost structure.
What frame and foam specification do you use?
Solid wood and engineered hardwood frames with corner blocks, and foam density, suspension and seat firmness specified per order to your duty level. We will tell you plainly what a given target price buys in frame and foam rather than promising premium construction at an entry price.
Can you develop a coordinated sofa family?
Yes. For multi-model retail programmes we develop a coordinated family — for example a three-seater, a loveseat and an armchair in the same frame, foam and fabric — so the range merchandise as a group rather than as unrelated pieces.
How many sofas fit in a container?
It depends on the silhouettes, whether they ship knockdown or assembled, and how the cushions are packed. We advise on configuration before you commit and confirm the loading plan in the quotation, rather than discovering the volume problem at the port.
